My First State of the Township: What We Are Doing
It’s just been under a year of serving as your Clinton Township Supervisor, so last week, I delivered the Clinton Township State of the Township Address as a free event, open to the public, in the Auditorium of my Alma Mater, Clintondale High School.
I know people have a lot going on in their lives and may not have been able to attend, so I’ve included the link below to watch the event on Youtube. This is where you’ll be able to watch and listen to the speech, as well as see the charts and graphs we produced to illustrate certain points.
I know it may have been a little too long, but this was our first year: there were a lot of issues that needed to be discussed.
Clinton Township is a great community, and we all have reason to be proud of the place we call home.
But we also have challenges: some of our own making, and others that are beyond our control where we need to work with others to solve them. The first step to solving any problem it to recognize that you have one. I think we can do that while also remaining positive about the future.

I also focused on some of the things that we are doing and can do to confront our issues, head-on.
The other point I highlight is there is a role for everyone when it comes to building a better Clinton Township, complete with examples, like the Inclusive Playground and fighting for road funding.
If you happen to check it out and have any questions, want to provide feedback, or are interested in getting involved, please feel free to reach out! I’d like to hear from you.
Respectfully,
Paul Gieleghem
Clinton Township Supervisor
