State of the Township October 23rd

You’re Invited to the State of the Township Address

Join Paul on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00 PM at the Clintondale High School Auditorium (35200 Little Mack) for his first State of the Township Address as your Clinton Township Supervisor.

Department Directors will be available in the cafeteria afterwards at 7:00 PM to Answer Your Questions.

No Resident Should Have to Pay to Hear their Supervisor Deliver the State of the Township Address

For many years, the Clinton Township Supervisor’s State of the Township Address has been delivered as a fundraising event for the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce, where business and community leaders would gather for breakfast and receive an update from the Township Supervisor on what was happening throughout the community.

While I believe it is a worthy goal to support the Chamber and work closely with them on ways to support our local businesses, I do not believe anyone should have to pay to hear their community’s chief executive deliver this speech. So, while I agreed to host an event for the Chamber and its members, I thought it imperative to first host an event in a public space and deliver this speech for free for any resident wishing to attend.

So my first State of the Township address as your Supervisor will be for you, for free, at the Clintondale High School Auditorium. We Clintondale grads like to say, ‘Once a Dragon, Always a Dragon’, and I’m grateful to the district for opening up their doors and allowing me the opportunity to provide this update to you and our community.

Following my presentation, the Township Department Directors and I will be stationed in the cafeteria so you’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the people I depend on to help me serve our residents.

Respectfully,

Paul Gieleghem
Clinton Township Supervisor
